This is the basic layout you'll see when you open an Excel worksheet. It's primarily divided into several areas.

2. Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) is a customizable toolbar in Excel that allows users to quickly access frequently used commands and functions.

3. Excel Ribbon

This area contains various command buttons and functional modules, grouped and categorized under different tabs.

4. Formula Bar

Used to input or edit values or formulas in cells or charts.

5. Excel Workbook/Worksheet Area

The content area of Excel where data is stored and edited. This area displays the active worksheet within the workbook.

6. Status Bar

Displays the status of data and the workbook.
